As changes in Jamaica emerged, the chapter was reestablished to form as an LLC on June 14, 2019, spreading it wings from its chartering on April 24, 2004, by 11 visionary Jamaican women. Jamaica Alumnae Chapter LLC continues has a strong legacy of service that expanded across the island in 2020 through our amazing local partnerships and alliance building with Southwest region chapters in spite of our small size. Our members are a beautiful mix of Jamaican-born sorors accented by those with Jamaican roots and Americans who have come to love and live in the country. JAC, as we are affectionately known, now averages 18 members who diligently uphold our commitment to Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, and Social Action.
