...WE ARE SMALL, BUT WE ARE POWERFUL a cultural Jamaican patwa expression.
Chartered on April 24, 2004, by 11 visionary Jamaican women with the support of former National President, Rev. Gwendolyn E. Boyd, the Jamaica Alumnae Chapter continues its legacy of serving the entire island composed of some 2.7 million people through our amazing partnerships, despite our small size. Our members are a beautiful mix of Jamaican-born sorors accented with those with Jamaican roots and Americans who have come to love and live in the country. JAC, as we are affectionately known, averages 10 members who diligently uphold our committment to Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service.
